Greetings from Gayleen

– June 2022

Too often the people behind the scenes, in the engine room of business are not out in front of mind winning the deserved praise for their efforts. They are the people that dot our I’s cross our T’s and keep business ticking over with critical business reporting, regulatory and statutory legislation and compliance requirements. As well of course, they help all our customers with any service questions or sort out any issues that may arise on a day to day basis.

We have a great team supporting our business, clients, candidates, and consultants. I was recently copied the following email from one of our clients on the service provided by Colleen.

“Hi Colleen,

I take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for the consistent quality and accuracy of your invoicing, your prompt responsiveness to my enquiries, and your personable, happy nature over the past 4.5 years.

As I am leaving, I feel saddened only by the fact that I will miss our happy interactions.  You exude happiness and joy in your work and take on requests as though there isn’t anything that is too much trouble. You are inspirational, and I will take with me your words of wisdom.

Thank you for being you.”

Colleen is our Admin & Accounts Manager and has been with Precruitment for nearly 10 years. Colleen is known for delivering outstanding customer service and always with a smile. The feedback is what our internal and external customers experience working with her every day. Thank you from us all Colleen.

Colin and I have just returned from our trip of several weeks visiting customers across regional Queensland. It was a great trip and so good to see much of the country green with dams, creeks and rivers flowing like have rarely been seen before. The birdlife and wildflowers were spectacular. It is wonderful that the tourists are back on the road with many regional towns buzzing with activity. It has been a challenging few years for many of our regions due to both Covid, travel restrictions and the additional pressures of drought and floods. The last weeks of our trip included Western Queensland areas of Winton, Longreach to Boulia up to Emerald, Charters Towers and out through Hughenden, Richmond, Julia Creek to Cloncurry, Mount Isa and up to Normanton then Croydon and Georgetown and most every township and region in between. The trip was almost 10,000km.  The country is so diverse and although much is green and thriving, we must remember that some areas are still experiencing drought. I hope you have the opportunity to visit and support our beautiful regions and diverse state.

Thank you to all of our team at Precruitment for doing an amazing job looking after business and treating it like it is your own while I was away.

Many thanks to our clients and candidates for your continued support.
