“Creativity doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones.” Bruce Garrabrandt
Creativity is one of those elusive things that people can’t quite comprehend. It is subjective and individual, but you know when it has shown up.
It is there wherever and whenever your heart twinges because it was touched. Someone was creative. Creativity can be crazy complicated or super simple. It can be found in a painting your child did that hangs on your fridge to an art show in the MOMA.
It doesn’t matter. However, I think people are quick to say they are not creative when they are. The difference is those who tap into it when the moment strikes and those who wait around for it to be a perfect time to start that project that they have been wanting to do since forever.
The best way to be creative is to just start where you are. You can always get better, but you have to start somewhere. It is about the heart wanting to express itself and you letting it.
Creativity is the balance that comes into life when you find yourself just working all the time and bogged down with daily life. Creativity lets you escape to be truly you. You never know when inspiration will hit. Start with what excites your heart and maybe something will come from that and next thing you know you are writing or painting or singing or dancing or creating stuff. The only limit is the ones we put on ourselves. No one can stop you, so start today.
