As proud award finalists, Sandy and I represented Precruitment and attended the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Gala event. It was a great night, congratulations to Cairns Airport who took out the winning entry as a result of the outstanding work they did after the floods to get the airport operating with an amazingly short turnaround in extremely challenging circumstances.

This month has seen a focus on the State Elections. We have a new Premier and governing party with the LNP securing a winning number of seats. Congratulations to the LNP and all the winning candidates in all the parties across the state. The regions have mostly led the change with hope a new government will focus on the challenges we face in regional Queensland.  As always with an election the economy, and business decisions slow with anticipated changes in direction and policy. We look forward to working under the new state government and their policy directives to get the economy growing and vibrant and our major challenges met.

Alissa brings extensive experience and exceptional ability in a career which has been rewarded with several promotions and leadership roles. With her recruitment expertise, Alissa has led innovation, training and change at a national management level from within one of the world’s largest recruitment companies.

Prior to joining Precruitment, Alissa worked remotely during a two-year lap around Australia gaining firsthand insight into regional and remote areas across the country. This unique combination of corporate expertise and on-the-ground knowledge of our diverse regions makes her exceptionally well-equipped to recruit in remote and regional Queensland.
